Just a thought: I believe I have seen all the profiles and I noticed one major thing...all the ladies seem to ONLY prefer guys who are older. This age preference might be a little short-sighted especially if they are discouraging a serious younger GUY from hollering. I know we want what we want, but we need to be open-minded especially when it's something as trivial as a couple years younger.

Notice that guys don't mind when they are young so why should women?

Yea I know "women mature faster"...but are you serious about looking for love and marriage?

Moral of the Story: Encourage our sisters to take the "younger" guy seriously.

You can be 28 and he can be 25 or 26, as long as his maturity is there. If you like keep doing "that guy is so hot and he likes me but he's a small boy becos i'm a year older than him"

Truth be told once a single woman reaches a certain age, she will outnumber the single guys her age and will have to widen the age bracket to include much younger and older guys. It's simple population math..

okay enough rambling to prove my point.

hmmm... dearest anonymous, "o ri yen so" meaning, u see that wan talk or simply you have a good point.

I honestly and totally agree with you but "to each their own." right? I have no control over what the ladies prefer...

I think females are being more open bout it now as well though. Let's be honest, our society does also play a role or have an impact on our choices.

Anyway, i think the ladies have heard/read you...point well taken...

So, anonymous, i'm guessing you're a guy huh? how bout you fill out a profile? or you got a wifey already? We should talk...(that's the height of my flirting skills)...ok i kid...but thanks though for the pointers...

Hey S Chic, unfortunately I'm a woman. And I think we have enough profiles up. Maybe I'll pressure my good-looking guy friends to put a profile up.

I just want my sisters to be open to opportunities.

:)

Do you think putting the ladies email in their profiles would be better?? Maybe they dont want to go through you? LOL.

Omosewa, you have a point oh...i'll check with the ladies though because putting their e-mails up for some means revealing their identity...and u never know who reads blogs these days

Hmm, I'm not sure if that would change the guys responding to the profiles if the age was lowered by a few years but I guess it's worth a try. I don't really know any Nigerian guys in the 25-26 range that are looking to settle down but they've got to be out there!

The women could always create a new email account to deal with their profile responses if they want to remain somewhat anonymous...

Both are good suggestions
