I remember saying i was going to try to blog more especially about the wedding; unfortunately, i can't seem to find the time still...how sad! Sorry GNG, i should really have posted the picture of the ring, but.....

Since the proposal, we've been working on finding a ceremony and reception venue. Well, Reception venue is what we have to concentrate on now since we're ruling out the chances of having the cerremony on some sort of grounds rather than the church. It's really been a difficult process too. Well, i guess it's only difficult when you're considering costs as well. A person who didn't have to worry about finding the best possible hall at an affordable price would definitely be having fun with this process. We've finally narrowed down our choices to two places. Let's call them Royal Hall and Ballroom.

Royal Hall is offering to provide everything including the food and a personal wedding planner about 6 wks prior to the event all at a rather good deal if we consider the original cost of the hall, it's location, and as ive named it - Royal Hall because of it's Regal. I personally like it because it saves us a lot of stress in regards to finding different vendors (did i include that it also includes the cake?). W e would be able to shift our attention to finding vendors like DJ, live band, hair and make up person, etc. With Ballroom, we would have to find all the vendors by ourselves well, except for the drinks which they would also provide. The problem with Royal Hall is that the time is not very reasonable, we can't begin our reception until 7:30p.m. It would mean we would have to shift church to later than we wnated it. Even if we pushed church to 5, assuming that they finish by 7, our guests still can't go inside the hall when they get there till 7:30p.m. and there is no outside area for cocktails. Besides, 5p.m. is too late for me for church....i think i would be crazy by then...lol...For Ballroom, we're currently getting quotes from different vendors so that we're better able to compare.

At the other end, this past weekend was our first formal family introductions. We heard it went well and waiting to see pictures. At that meeting, more introductions were done...oh, the YC's family were asked to come with 8 people to meet 8 from our sides...they must be a really big family because they ended up with 12 people. Still, all went well sha. They were also given the list below to bring when they come next:
