Hmmmm...2010 has indeed been one of the most interesting years of my entire life! Am writing not because i feel obligated to come here or anything but i seriously just have an urgent urge to write or talk about what has been running through my mind today and couldn't find a better avenue and then remembered i still had my blog albeit my unfaithfulness to it.
I woke up this morning with a word from a song ringing in my ears and i've played the song over and over again since i woke up and got ready to go to work, i repeated the the "word" to myself pretty much all day, facebooked it (i've not updated fb status in a while), i BBed it on my phone and even as i write, am listening to it again.
"Only a God like you..do I give my Praise" the song itself was written by Pastor Wale Adenuga who i happen to have the Biggest Respect for his songs and even much more respect after meeting him in person..as in, i'll like to meet a more humble man than this guy!
As i said earlier, 2010 has indeed been a challenge but my soul, my spirit, everything that is in me truly exalts the name of the most High God i serve. Unfortunately, this has been the worst spritual life year for me. I've been so unfaithful to God that it's ridiculous! At some point, I couldn't even explain my finances so i stopped paying my tithes until I got a nudge again...thank God for that saving!
I've also had to take some rather big steps this year and am truly hoping and praying that God would put His stamp on them all...
Today, even while my heart was rejoicing in God's love towards me, i saw a video on FB done by Fela Durotoye about raising money for an education project; towards the end, they had these young boys and girls talking about what they wanted to be in the future and what was stopping them, my spirit literally dropped as i realized how much i had taken for granted for being abroad!
Am not sure if this reflections is because the year is coming to an end, but i really am thankful for where God has placed me right now and even more thankful for where i know he is taking me...I hope you're reading God, not sure how else to thank you but i truly am Grateful!
